  1st trip to San Fran...ever. It had been almost a year since I had a massage, I've been working my butt off, and was in town to meet my consultant. I felt it was time to treat myself. Problem was, I called four spas and no one had any time today, tomorrow, or my last day here.
  
  I was reluctant to call Massage Envy b/c I had a bad experience (the only other time I visited) years ago in my hometown. But, your spa is only as good as your massage therapist.
  
  To my surprise, while they didn't have any availability tomorrow or the following day, they DID have a 2-hour slot this evening at 5pm, so I took it.
  
  First of all, HUGE props for accommodating me with such (apparent) short notice. Secondly, Nora was absolutely fantastic. Easily top-3 ever. I got seriously lucky here today - and I'd highly recommend other travelers give them a shout.
